Sergio “Checo” Perez is a renowned Mexican Formula One racing driver, currently competing for Cadillac. Over his 15-season career, he has secured six Grand Prix victories, including prestigious wins at Monaco, Singapore, and Baku.
Hired by Amply, I took on the role as the Lead Designer for this high-profile project, working in close collaboration with Amply Co-founder Cade Biegel.
My role involved spearheading a comprehensive refresh of Sergio Perez’s brand identity. This encompassed the development of a new logotype, color palette, typography, overall visual system, and social media presence. Additionally, I had the privilege of designing his official all-season helmet for the 2026 campaign.
I served as the Lead Designer for his official 2026 all-season helmet. Recognizing the prestige and high stakes of this project, bringing the final design to life was a collective effort. I worked closely alongside the Amply team, Checo’s management, and Cadillac representatives to refine every detail.
I led the initial art direction for the new website, setting the visual tone through the design of high-impact layouts such as the hero, career stats, and biography pages. This foundational work provided a comprehensive design blueprint for the Amply team, enabling them to seamlessly develop and launch the impressive final digital experience.
